On Friday, June 6, the team at MC Dental proudly stepped out in their brightest, boldest socks to recognise Crazy Socks 4 Docs Day—a day that shines a light on the importance of mental health in the medical and dental professions.
This cause is close to our hearts. Crazy Socks 4 Docs was founded by cardiologist Dr Geoff Toogood, the brother of our very own Dr Gayle Toogood at MC Dental Brighton. Dr Geoff’s mission is to break down the stigma around mental health struggles among healthcare workers. What began as a simple, colourful way to start a conversation has become a powerful movement that grows each year.
Our teams at MC Dental embraced the day with colourful socks and big smiles. This year we had quite a few socks with dental themed designs!
