Terms and conditions:

1. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Promotion Entrants accept and acknowledge full responsibility for their decision to participate in the Promotion and to take a Prize if they are drawn as a Winner.
2. The Promoter is MC Dental (ABN 57 947 026 372) of Shop 254, Level 2/211 La Trobe St, Melbourne VIC 3000. Ph: 8608 8968 (Promoter).
3. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

Duration
4. Entry to the Promotion commences at 9:00am AEDT on 30/07/24 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 31/08/24 (Promotion Period).

Eligibility to enter
5. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary to participate.
6. The competition is open to Victorian residents (Eligible Entrants).
7. Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion. These Conditions of Entry will bind the Entrants and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent.
8. MC Dental employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the Promotion. Immediate family includes only spouses, parents and children.
9. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries (including an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who is not an Eligible Entrant, has not complied with these Terms and Conditions or tampers with the entry process.

Entry into the Promotion
10. To Enter, Eligible Entrants must:

a. Be a follower of MC Dental on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/MelbourneCentralDental/) or Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/mcdentalmelbourne/) as of August 31st 2024 and have liked the competition post on either the MC Dental Facebook or Instagram page and have commented with a sports photo, for which they receive 1 entry into the competition.
b. Bonus entry: One (1) additional entry is granted if an entrant shares the competition post on their story or feed, or tag a friend in the comments.
11. Entries must be submitted by the Entrant, automated Entries will not be valid.
12. Obscene, provocative, or otherwise inappropriate content will not be considered. The Promoter retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
13. The Promoter is not responsible for (and is under no obligation to accept) any lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries.
14. The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the entry is received by the Promoter.
Determination of Winners
15. This promotion is a game of chance and the Winner will be drawn at random.
16. All valid Entries received during the Promotion Period will be eligible for the draw.
17. Winner will be picked at 110 Kingsway, Glen Waverley VIC by 5:00pm AEDT 2/09/24.
18. There will be a total of 1 x Winner.
19. The result of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a Winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

The Prizes
21. The Winner will receive (Prize):
1 x $200 Rebel Sport Gift Card, valued at RRP $200 (AUD)
22. Total Prize pool value is RRP $200 (AUD).
23. Winners will be required to collect their prize from their nominated MC Dental clinic.
24. Under the Australian Consumer Law, there are some warranties and guarantees that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified or can only be excluded, restricted or modified to a limited extent. The Promoter excludes all warranties and guarantees in relation to the prizes, to the extent allowable under the Australian Consumer Law. Except as otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law, the Promoter accepts no liability or responsibility for any defect with the prizes.
25. Prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
26. If a Prize (or part of a Prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to select an alternative prize of similar value which will be awarded to the relevant Winner, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
27. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the promotion or the Prizes. Independent financial advice should be sought.

Notification of the Winners
28. The Winners will be notified via Direct Message to the account used to submit their Entry by 5:00pm AEDT 02/09/24.
29. The Winners will be announced publicly via a Facebook post through the MC Dental Facebook account once the Winners have been notified and accepted their Prize.

Right of the Promoter to redraw
30. The Promoter reserves the right to re-select a Winner in the event of a Winner not being an Eligible Entrant, not having complied with these Terms and Conditions or not being able to be contacted by the Promoter after the Promoter having made reasonable efforts to do so. If a redraw is necessary, it will be conducted at Shop 254, Level 2/211 La Trobe St, Melbourne VIC 3000 on 10/10/24, subject to any written direction given under applicable law. Any Winner determined in accordance with this clause will be notified by Direct Message within 3 business days of the redraw.

Limitation of liability and variation of promotion
31. Except as otherwise required by law, if any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. The Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this promotion and these Terms and Conditions.
32. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any losses (including loss of opportunity), damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, or the use of any Prize.

33. Without limiting the foregoing, entrants’ personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Statement, a copy of which is available at https://www.mcdental.com.au/privacy-policy/

34. This Promotion may be promoted through third party websites, like Facebook and Instagram. Entrants must at all times comply with the terms of service for those third-party websites when using them to participate in this Promotion. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with those third-party websites.
