Dental education for childcare and preschool kids in Melbourne

On Thursday 15th and Monday 19th August, Maryanne and Dakota from MC Dental made special visits to Hurlingham Preschool in Brighton, bringing a delightful mix of education and fun to the eager young learners. Their mission? To make learning about dental health as exciting and engaging as possible!

In each interactive session, the preschoolers were introduced to the world of dentistry. Maryanne and Dakota explained what a dentist does, demystified a trip to the dentist, and shared the importance of teeth and how to care for them. The kids learned about brushing  and why it’s essential for their bright smiles. Each session was filled with interactive discussions and colourful visuals that kept the children intrigued and involved.

The excitement didn’t stop there! After the educational portion, the children enjoyed a captivating story and a lively dance session, turning learning into a joyous celebration. The highlight of the visit was Toothy, the lovable tooth mascot, who joined in for photos and high-fives, making the day even more memorable.

As a special treat, every child received a showbag filled with fun dental goodies. It was clear that Maryanne and Dakota’s visit left a positive and lasting impression on the preschoolers, sparking curiosity about dental health in a playful and enjoyable way.

MC Dental wishes to express a heart-felt THANK YOU to the fantastic team of educators at Hurlingham Preschool – and of course to the brilliant children in their care. Here’s to many more smiles and successful dental adventures!
