In his own words
I am motivated, passionate and excited about the dental profession. I bring a positive energy to my role. Dentistry can be a stressful profession and I have a strong desire to help others and stay focused on my career development.
The most important thing in a dental practice is trust between team members. It’s necessary to create an enjoyable and positive environment where patients are happy to visit the practice and are happy when they leave the practice also.
This gives the practice receptionists a very important role as a patient’s impression of the clinic can be determined entirely on their interaction with our receptionists. They are the face of the practice and communication window between us and the patient.
Dentistry is a very personal health care service and should always be delivered with careful planning and customisation for each individual. Good customer service is being able to understand the patient’s needs and being able to deliver on those needs.
I like to organise things in a planned and orderly manner so there are no surprises and strongly believe in the famous quote from Benjamin Franklin, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.”
I take my job very seriously and like to take the time to plan things carefully.
It’s not just about making sure that the patient has a good experience while seeing the dentist. Their experience begins when they first walk in and continues until they leave. The whole experience should be a pleasant one.
The man outside the dental practice
Outside of MC Dental, I like to play the guitar and enjoy jazz music. I also like to cook and enjoy nice food with my friends and family. Sometimes I go to the local farmer’s market to enjoy the fresh local produce and music they have to offer. Exercise is also important to maintain my overall wellbeing. When I get the opportunity, I love to go snowboarding.
